We are a Kentucky Confederate Civil War reenacting group / unit. We do Reenactments and Living History events all over the state of KY. We have also done events in Indiana and Tennessee. We have also done Civil War school programs. If you live anywhere in KY, southern IN, or northern TN, you should consider us.

There is something for everyone and for every member of the family with our Civil War Reenactment Unit / Group. You can choose from the 6th Kentucky Infantry, Company C, that was a member or the famous "Orphan Brigade." There's also Buckner's Battery Light Artillery, if you like a little more noise. If you're into Civil War medicine, there's the 6th Kentucky Field Hospital. From time to time we bring out the blue as the 13th Kentucky Infantry, Company D, USA. Plus there are numerous roles someone can play as a Civilian. There is always a place for children too.

If you like to camp and take short trips then this is the hobby for you. If camping is not your thing, you can aways cheat and get a room. Don't let the idea of travel and the new recruit list bother you. Civil War reenacting is comparable if not cheaper than other hobbies. Plus, money spent on living history reenacting is tax deductible. Please check with your tax preparer for details.

We are here to honor our ancestors and every American soldier from George Washington to today. We are also here to educate and entertain the public. Some are here to get away from the 21st Century, others to hang out with the guys for the weekend. Still others are here to spend quality time with their families. No matter what other reasons you'll have for reenacting, fun is one reason that you'll share with us all.
